Le Château

With 5,500 square feet of luxurious living space consisting of 6 bedroom suites, 6 bathrooms, 2 reception rooms, 2 kitchens, entrance hall and terrace, the villa can accommodate up to 14 people: a mix of families, a group of friends, business seminars, a wedding party or honeymoon, art shows or one family hosting their friends for a few weeks.

The Grounds

Set in the Provençal hills, the Château de Seillans dominates the unspoilt village of Seillans, which is continually voted one of the prettiest villages in France and is surrounded by 1,600 hectares (4,000 acres) of protected forest and mimosa.

The climate is Mediterranean and mild, the air exceptionally clean and the hills to the North protect the village from the Mistral wind.
The area is dominated by vines, olive groves, lavender fields yet within easy reach of the coast. The A8 motorway 20kms to the South provides access to the Rivièra, the French Alps, Monaco, Italy and Spain. Local amenities include the 430 hectare (1,600 acre) Lake St Cassien, 12 kms distant with swimming, sailing, fishing, rowing and beach restaurants. The Gorge of Verdun offers white-water canoeing, climbing and hang gliding. There is a private airfield at Fayence 5kms away and the 36 hole golf resort of Terre Blanche is 7kms.
